The questions became books.

Some questions led me into adult nonfiction. Others became cases for children to investigate. They do not share one formula. They share a starting point: something I wanted to understand.

Adult Nonfiction

Each book begins with a different question.

Some began with food or weight. Others with mental overload, habits, continuity, or what happens when the usual explanation no longer seems to fit.

I follow each question where it leads. That is why the books belong together without having to say the same thing.
