ABOUT LUCY

I live by questions.

I need to understand why something works before I can make sense of what to do with it. For me, understanding is what turns information into possibility. It is how I learn, adapt, and find a way forward when the obvious answer is not enough.

That is where my books begin.

WHAT I NOTICE

Questions usually begin where something doesn’t quite add up.

When the advice sounds simple but the reason behind it does not, I want to know what is missing. What is making this harder? What changes the picture? What would make the next step make more sense?

I don’t write from the position of having the answer. I follow the question, share what I find, and leave the reader free to decide what is useful.

HOW I WORK

When a question stays with me, I keep following it.

I read, compare, look for what different sources agree on and where they do not. I pay attention to what the evidence can support, but also to where certainty ends.

I am not looking for the perfect answer. I am trying to understand the picture well enough to share what I found clearly and honestly.

WHY TWO DISTINCT LINES

The questions change with the reader. So does the way I tell the story.

My adult books follow questions I want to understand more deeply, from mental overload and food to habits, weight, continuity, and change.

For children, curiosity becomes part of the experience itself. Life skills turn into cases to investigate, with clues, choices, and discoveries along the way.

The voice is different. The reader is different. The reason I begin is the same: I want to understand.
